Based on the cover, I thought this would be about a kid and her dog, but it's actually 4 short stories involving pets.
Floats through the connection between people and pets, with a general emphasis on the bonds that are built either willingly and reluctantly. To some, they seem like a burden, an extra responsibility they don't want following them along as they attempt to lift their own burdens. Ultimately, the determination of these furry companions breaks through and helps mend the void in their owners lives. 🐶🐱♥️
The adult stories play it straight, but there's one from a child's perspective that uses a bit of imagination in regards to how she sees her pet. Easily the best and brightest…

Review by BjorkShandy ★½
I was gonna watch all four parts of the anthology but decided to turn it off after a dog was strung up by a rope that was tied around it's neck. The crew was actually willing to cut off the dogs air supply in order to make the audience cry... possibly the most pathetic attempt at misery porn I've ever seen. It's straight up cruel and there is no need for it. Goes to show how shit your film is and how much of a talentless loser you are when you need to resort to hanging a dog in order to make the audience feel something.

Review by Mark ★★½
As the previous reviewer said, probably only worth it for the third story "My Little Sister" by Park Heung-sik. Mostly because it was carried by Kim Su-an, slightly better known perhaps from the short film "Sprout". The other three shorts aren't bad but certainly more forgettable.
They all seem to show/teach about the interactions of humans and animals. The third one stuck because it portrays the pet as extended family quite literally.

4 stories, but only one (the third) is really worth watching. Most of the film is predictable cheesy tear-jerking pet drama stuff. The third story though has an interesting twist to it and an unexpected conclusion, 3 star rating pretty much just for that story alone.
